Mike Camp
Board Member & Finance Director
Mike Camp is the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors at One Heart Children’s Foundation. Mike oversees the accounting, tax, payroll, treasury, and budgeting functions for the organization and brings extensive finance and accounting experience to the Board. Mike is also the Chief Financial Officer at a real estate development firm based in Salt Lake City.
Prior to working in real estate, Mike was the Chief Audit Executive for a large multinational corporation. Mike also worked in the assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is an active Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accounting Degrees from the University of Utah.
Mike has a deep affection for the Bulgarian people, having served as a volunteer missionary there from 1999-2001. He decided to join One Heart Bulgaria’s team after witnessing firsthand the plight of orphans in Bulgaria and how relatively modest resources can achieve outsized outcomes for children in Eastern Europe. Mike also has South Slavic heritage and feels a special kinship to the region’s people, specifically abandoned children.
Mike’s hobbies include spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, sports tourism, international travel, fly-fishing, and keeping up on geopolitics.
